What is Theatre Co?
The LAC Theatre Co. is an auditioned group of students ranging in ages 7 and up. This year we will be attending the NYTE Competition and Festival in Louisville, Kentucky. Our students will perform a 20 minute cut of a musical PLUS perform a solo and monologue for adjudication by Broadway performers.
Audition info and requirements
1. Send in an audition video to [email protected] that includes the following:
- Name and age
- One short musical theater song
- Share with me what your favorite thing about musical theater is
- You can either send video directly or send a link for youtube, google drive or other streaming platforms.
2. Enrolled in another LAC class (musical, private lesson, or training class)
3. Be available for the following dates:
- Mondays, 7:00 to 8:00 (extended to 8:30 as we approach our performance dates)!
- January 24th, 10 to 1, (TBD 2 to 5 - individual coaching)
- February 28th, 10 to 4
- March 2 - 4, 5 to 8
- March 6 - 8th - NYTE in Louisville, KY
6. This group will also perform at community events
